Rules

Players will be required to sign up as teams of two for this community tournament game. This is a single elimination tournament, with each round played as a Bo1.

The format of the tournament is as follows:

Round 1:

  • Teams will be randomly assigned a partner team for the match, creating teams of 4.

  • The first game shall be carried out in a 4v4 manner.

Round 2:

  • The winning team of Round 1 will be split into their respective duos.

  • The second game shall be carried out in a 2v2 manner.

Round 3:

  • The winning duo(s) of Round 2 matches will either:

  • If one winning duo: compete in a 1v1 manner for becoming Archmage of Epic47 Community.

  • If multiple winning duos: compete in a 2v2 manner for becoming Dual Archmages of Epic47 Community.

Game Length: 15 minutes.

Should this overrun, sudden death shall be enforced to where all competitors must gather on the central tile and begin battle. Any competitors killed must remain in their spawn fortress, and once a team has been fully returned to their base they are eliminated. In this case, both teams must inform Electric of the winning team, to confirm and ensure fair play.

For ease of communication, all competitors will be required to join the community discord voice chat, through which timings and games can be monitored. Competitors should make use of in-game proximity communications as often as possible, and remain muted (but not deafened) within the call.

Should the total number of teams signed onto the tournament be an odd number, the community team will make an effort to have full matches occur. This may not always be possible however, in which case the earliest sign ups will be prioritised and any sign-ups left non-competing shall be awarded consolidation points equal to the lowest points earned. Should any players wish to compete and do not have a duo, let the community team know and we can try to assist you.
