If you require any help relating to Sonic Mania, our tournament admins can be found in the arena admin area next to the help desk or via our Discord. Keep note of your seat number whilst at the event as admins may ask for it.
Signups & Restrictions
- You require a ticket for EPIC41 to take part in this event.
- Competitors taking part in any of the EPIC41 esports tournament are ineligible to participate in this fun tournament.

Tournament Rules
Schedule
A Leaderboard Stage to complete Greenhill Zone 1 as fast as possible. Top 4 players will then compete on the Stage on Friday 23rd February at 4pm to see who can beat the whole game the fastest.
All Greenhill zone attempts must be submitted before 3pm Friday 23rd February
- All runs must start from one of the following:
- An empty save file. A "No Save" file. A "Zone 1" file with no emeralds, 3 lives, and 0 continues.
- Game audio is required and must be at an audible level throughout the run. At the very least, the SFX must be clearly audible.
- All unofficial versions, texture hacks, other mods, other modloader cheats / features, developer mode features, etc are not allowed.
- Using Secret features such as Peelout and Debug are not allowed.
- Controlling Tails with 1P input is allowed, however controlling Tails with 2P input is not allowed.
- Timing is done by real time, and begins when commentator says start for the stage, and ends after delivering the last hit on the final boss. Runs must be done on most up-to-date version.
- Timing in the leaderboard stage will be from the in-game timer for completing a level.
- In the final round, if no competitor have completed the run in the hour, the winner will be determined by who has progressed the furthest.
- For any tiebreaks, the person with the highest score wins.
