Game Version

Due to recent changes to competitive gameplay in the Premier Season 3 update, including economy and weapon/equipment balance changes, EPIC45 will operate on last weeks patch.

This is in line with our Counter-Strike 2 rules under section 5.8 Game Version, that we will not force a new competitive standard to be played if introduced so close to the start of the tournament. 

Map Pool

Unrelated to the game version itself, but we will also be retaining Anubis in the map pool for this tournament, as defined under section 5.1 Map List.

How to:

To connect to your EPIC.LAN match servers, you will need to downgrade your game via Steam

- Right click CS2
- Properties
- Navigate to "Beta" tab
- Select 1.40.8.6 from the drop down menu
- Press "Update" on CS2 if it does not start automatically

Note: If you wish to play on live servers such as FACEIT, you will need to remove the Beta version from your menu and update the game to the latest version again.
